Gregory Hays, translator of Marcus Aurelius, does a hack job on Stoicism

Gregory Hays is the author of a deservedly celebrated translation of Marcus Aurelius’ Meditations. (Though he does take liberties with the text, which is why I prefer the Robin Hard translation.)
